I'm still trying to figure out what is really primo conditions for e-town, I'm hyping low 70s with approx 50% humidity as "Candyland" conditions just because e-town is a Below sea level track and E-town can be easy to figure out when the conditions are just right, not too bad or even too good of conditions (See Shakedown last year on Sat) where it's a total puzzle to figure out,

but I'm trying to figure out when the best conditions are for a 70* track, and I really hope that everybody on Friday go crazy and try to set backbreaker runs because that'll be the only good day all weekend because it's get hotter and more humid as the weekend goes on with water grains per lb of air (BTW how do i figure out that measurement as well?)

anytime you don't go perfectly straight, you are giving up ET

The air is pretty dry right now, tomorrow will be in the 70's with relatively dry air and tomorrow night should be great for the PS/PSM/PM cars. Depends on how much rubber gets down to determine how well the fuel cars will run tomorrow. I will be at the track around 1pm.

I don't think you'll see record runs on Friday. Good performance possibly.. but not 'Candy-Land'..

The best conditions for fuel racing seem to be mid 60 air temp, 72-76 degree track temp after it had been above 90 degrees during the day. That's when the track gets tight. Dry air is good, but not crucial, as you can speed up the blower to compensate for the humidity.

Okay, after 1

T/F 13 passes .83 on top
flop 15 passes Virginian's .119 on top T-ped, Robert, & Head lookin' from the outside, very weak bump time.

Now Gas Flops... :D

d'kid

Ok...I got that one wrong...

Tonight reminded me of Friday night sessions when the race was in May. All the cars were flying!

Ditto Paul, Note to NHRA, Run the Pro Stock Motorcycles at or around 8pm so FC are out at 9 and we are all happy.

I knew the day was going to be great performance wise, I knew someone was going .7 under in Comp, 5.40 in TAFC, A Bunch of 5s in Pro Mod, Track Records lowered in the other 4 categories, and all of which happened, however I did not expect Cory Mac to Throw up a 3.752 though, I was actually more predicting Edwards running a 6.4, Hagan or Ashley Running a 3 or a 5.7 Pro Mod Run, or the fastest run ever in PSM, but we got the 3rd from Michael Phillips.
