Busy Month of June in 2013 (1 Viewer)

I see they put the inaugural New England race in between Bristol & Chicago.
4 races out of 5 weekends in June. Hmmm, Perhaps a "Eastern Swing" ??

I don't understand how they can't put Epping after E-town instead of making the teams go to Bristol between the races.

I don't see how this portion of the schedule won't affect car counts (especially sportsman). This many events in the same basic geographical region so close together will most certainly force racers to make some $$ decisions. Especially when you factor in additional divisional and regional events that will be scheduled in between.

How about the 2nd cluster of 5 races in 6 weeks to start the countdown?

You know I always wondered the same thing. It seems like every single schedule I ever see seems like the NHRA could of saved teams at least some extra cash by just grouping better. I would think some teams may even be able to make more races on the tour if it was all in one direction instead of having to go back and forth.

That's a lot of racing in June and July. 4 consecutive races of the Eastern Swing, one week off, then 3 consecutive races on the Western Swing.

So if you were travelling from Australia and had 4 weeks off work which would you do?

The western swing
Epping, Chicago, norwalk
Indy, Charlotte, Dallas

When did they take Summer Nationals from Topeka?

I wonder if in the Deal talked about last June, Englishtown would retain it's classic "SummerNationals" name because ETown was Always remembered as the home of the Summernationals.

I'd like the old Summernationals lettering from the 80s/90s used with the toyota logo.
