At 10 pm central they made sure to announce that NHRA qualifying from Phoenix would be next. I should've known they were going to bump drag racing when they made that announcement 1 hour BEFORE racing was scheduled to air.

I think there were more people in Phoenix (when the fuel cars were running the stands looked to be relatively full) then at the NASCAR race last night, Fontana was empty. I will be interested to see how many people show up today for the NASCAR race, I think you might see that place at 50% capacity. I read where the real estate collapse and unemployment in the southwest have taken many people from rich to poor in the matter of a year. Tough times for everyone, especially in that part of the country.
