Slim Pickens? Blazing Saddles? "Has anyone got a dime? Somebody's gotta go back and get a $hitload of dimes." :D

I tried to watch Blazing Saddles this summer, I saw it in the theater when it was released.
I couldn't watch it, it seemed sooo stupid.
Maybe it's my age.

I've found that the majority of older movies i thought were good, at one time, do not 'age well' once you look at them today
True, some don't, some do. Sometimes we forget the period of times and technology available when those films were made. My Wife generally hates all the older movies. I love a lot of the classics. I just watched High Plains Drifter again yesterday; it's still a great movie.

The only way to watch Blazing Saddles is the unedited version. There are no sacred cows. Everybody with sensitive feelers can find something to be offended about. But that’s what makes it such a classic movie.
Besides, it’s the most quotable movie ever made.
“That was close. Dang near lost a 400 dollar hand cart.”

I could watch those Trilogy movies forever.
And after I lived in AZ for several years, I began to get interested in many Westerns.

your feet maam are almost as big as your mouth ...... we should rename this thread over in general discussion.
what movies do you have to watch the whole thing after seeing even 1 minute of it
a lot of clint eastwood flics including H.P.D. (tony referenced), the good, the bad and the ugly, the outlaw josie wales, both the
every which way but loose flics, dirty harry, and i'd even throw in kelly's heroes and two mules for sister sara.
brit will have time to catch up on all of these as she enters her next chapter in life ;)
