Bill,

Your various statements have answered some questions i have had about the team and the performance of the car for some time now. Without signage on the doors i didn't expect them to be using new motors or have lots of employees around. One has to wonder if Justin is looking for another engine deal or not right now? I would certainly consider it if i were him.

Are there any options for you in terms of power?

Bill,

I'm sure there are options...for the right amount of money you could buy the engine right out of Greg Andersons car ;) ...

But who has the kind of money tree it takes to compete at this level ???

Bill, you're dissapointed at your ability to qualify but in my eyes your one of the top 20 fastest NHRA PS Racers in a country of 6 million with I'm sure a budget missing alot of zero's compared to those qualifying above you!

Keep Fighting and keep shooting strait and it'll all work out in the end!

I would like to see a new Glidden Ford Pro Stock team with Bill driving and Bob wrenching. But if retirement means not running a current Pro Stock team how about putting the old Pinto or Fairmont back together to run at Hot Rod Reunions?

I don't think he can look for another engine deal, isn't that car Maskin's?

I'm pretty sure that the cars are owned by Justin/Raceredi. Maskins was just supplying the ponies and helping with car setup. I hope it all works out well for Justin, he has helped our sport tremendously by putting on a good show in Pro Stock.

Maybe that's it....I wasn't 100% sure. Perhaps Cagnazzi would like to lease some more power?

I think that Bob Glidden has the talent to run a successful team. The problem in this whole deal, well in my opinion, you have to have everyone wanting to do this as badly as yourself!! In darts operation, they do not have anyone working on this stuff, when we get back from a race, Bob Glidden drives 362 miles to dart, to work on the stuff that is either left there, or on the way back, and until that time, there is noone working on the prostock engines. I am not pointing at anyone, or telling anyone how to run their program, just answering the questions, OK? Dad says that except for the manifolds, these engines are the same they ran with when ricky, and tom were racing. I do not have any way to prove this, but richard says nothing to contradict, this? We worked there the entire winter, we stayed in a super 8 motel, we paid our own motel, we paid our own food all except for one meal. I was sucked into this whole deal, and I am a fool! It seems that we (Shannon, and myself) are going to recieve a negative from this whole deal, but noone twisted my arm, and noone forced me to do this, so I do however have to make 14 races because I was promised an awefl lot, and signed the release for making atleast 14 races, or I will lose my nhra license. This did happen to dwayne rice, and I have been reminded that it would happen! I will take my lumps and run the tire testing engines that I put together, live and learn, thanks, BG

There are people at Dart working on the motors and the engines are not the same.

Thanks Dave. Bill's post was a little difficult to interpret...I'm never sure if his question marks are really question marks, exclamation marks, or a new version of a period.
John, it's just that you don't read Ford--if it were translated into Mopar it would all be perfectly clear to you!

dave I really do not think you are aware of so much? I worked up there for two months solid, I did not recieve one paycheck, and I paid my own motel and all my own food except one. I personally know where every engine is right now!!!! So tell me, how many dyno pulls have been made in the last week??? I did not take a shot at anyone, including Tony. They do what they are told to do, they are employees and there is nothing wrong with that, but for you to come here and mislead, and then try and make it out as if I do not know whats going on, I think you know mush less than I do! Now why not go and find posts where I have thanked everyone at dart, especially Tony, and where I have thanked him for a great partner in all the work this winter, as well as Jeff, George and the others, now print this one off (the whole post) and show it it to Tony also, the prostock teams running the best have many more people concentrating on only the prostock program, I could care less if this is beyond what you think or not, it is fact!! Thanks, BG

I think Justin and the gang will be just fine. Richard has several things lined up and they will be testing the first of the week. Just like me, they need a few things to go better, and this kid will be a serious contender. I hope he does well also, BG

I am not sure about buying Gregs engine, lol, but I am sure of the fact I have done a poor job of getting the cars, right, hopefully I have turned the corner, we actually ran decent the last two runs at vegas, as for the power situation? I do not have the funds to get to and from the races, dang sure do not have anything for the right parts to run this deal, thanks, BG

In fact, dave aren't you at work when looking at all this? why aren't you doing your job instead of being on the internet? I know you are the son in law and all, but still work is work, heck I don't have a computor, tv, or radio at my shop, and I figure I work alot more often than you do, in our place, Shannon does the shipping, boxing and what not, and she is not on the computor either, BG

i am not trying to make you look bad for god sake. i think your a great guy and was very happy Dart had a chance to all work together as a team with you. everyone at the shop is into this as a team, everyone. that is something richard has instilled in all of us. i did show tony what was writen becasue i did not think what was writen was right after everything you guys had been through as friends?? as for looking at posts at work i am sure you have eaten lunch at a desk with a computer on it before?? but we dont need to get into all that. as far as i know the statemnt i made was true. there are people working on the motors at the shop and the engines are not the same as they were when tommy was running them. like i said i am glad we are all working together as a team and i hope it continues with great results.

Go get em Bill....The truth always separates the players from the wanna-be's. I appericate you being here and your comments. Sure wish you and your Dad would get a fair shake at this current day Pro Stock Class - It would be fun to watch.

Did anyone else hear Paul Page say that Bob would have some words about his future plans?

Allow me to shed more light on this. The producers asked Paul Page to go out into the pits and get some answers. I guess Paul spent like half a day pounding the pavement working on this scoop. And boy did he ever. Infact, here's a candid photo of Paul talking with one "high profile" driver near his pit area. So based on this photo alone... I'd say Paul is definately in the know when it comes to NHRA Pro Stock! :p
