Gary Ormsby RIP 1989 after wheelstand

Was Tom Hoover busy? WJ's from Minnesota originally right?

Myself and a few friends were a little surprised with the selection of Forrest, with all due respect to Forrest, we felt that there were other "legends" who should have been selected for the BIR event.

Please don't take this as a shot at Forrest or the Lucas family, their contribution to Drag Racing (motorsports in general) is nothing short of phenomenal and they help a lot of people do the things they love for a living.
It's called the Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals.................

Those are cool pictures.

I agree with Paul. No disrespect to Mr. Lucas. When NHRA announced they were going to do this, I thought it would be legends and we people who were atleast assoicated with certain tracks, homestate drivers, etc.

For Baytowns race, we had Shirley. She's got nothing to do with Texas. Guess they forgot Eddie Hill, Kenny B, the Snowman, Billy Meyer, or anyone else associated with this great State.

I can't remember this car on the track? Was this just a show car? If I remember correctly, this trailer and car was parked at BIR over by the "VIP" suites and not on the road course "nitro pits".
