1. Beaumont to El Paso : 742 miles

21. The State animal is the Armadillo. (An interesting bit
of trivia about the armadillo is they always have four babies! They have one
egg, which splits into four, and they either have four males or four
females. Well, I thought it was interesting anyway!)

22. The first domed stadium in the U.S. was the Astrodome
in Houston .

People here in Texas have trouble with all those
"shalls" and "shall nots" in the ten Commandments. Folks here just aren't used to
talking in those terms. So, some folks out in west Texas got
together and translated the "King James" into "King Ranch"
language:

I roared through Pecos a week ago and with a 80 MPH speed limit on I 20 I do mean roared ! LOL
 
I love the 80 mph speed limit, both on I-20 & I-10 :) Totally rocks to get somewhere sooner.

About #14... the same treaty which allows Texas the right to secede. Problem is that the US has historically honored fewer treaties than it has broken. Just ask any Native American. Last time Texas was seriously talking about succession, the US Feds had cows Bill Cosby style.

I have other irons in the fire ! I forgot oldest Daughter's Birthday today and I'll likely get brained for my shortcomings !
