Happy Sunday, fellow 'maters. Wanted to share a unique content series that MBR is creating for the fine folks over at DragIllustrated.com.

The 7-part series chronicles an in depth, behind the scenes look at our runner-up finish at the 2017 NHRA Carolina Nationals; our first National Event as car owners. Each post includes a detailed breakdown from one of the runs during the weekend as well as a multi-camera onboard video to put you right in the heart of the action.

We hope the posts can help get you through the offseason, and we're open to any feedback that would make this type of content more enjoyable for the future. We tried not to sugar coat anything, and we called out all of our mistakes that we made along the way. We’ve come a long way since purchasing this car, but you'll see that at the end of the day we're still just an upstart operation that's adapting to adversity and figuring things out as we go.

While we recommend checking out the full post to get context for the conversations going on in the car and the issues faced on track, for anyone that's just interested in the video breakdown, you can view it here:

"An all or nothing run on Saturday morning, in the left lane, against a blown car, in Charlotte to try and qualify for the show…we’ve seen this one before."

With the pressure mounting, part 3 of our "Behind the Ropes" series for Drag Illustrated features an all-or-nothing final qualifying run on Saturday morning in Charlotte.
