Bad light for Tony Stewart?

Really, its OK not to like someone.

An influential and successful parts manufacturer walked into my trailer one morning and told me and my wife that if he was driving through the desert on a 110 degree day, and he saw (famous drag racer) broken down on the side of the highway, he'd speed up.

I wonder if he were in the desert broke down if he still would say that’s ok for any reason🙏

I remember (at least I'm pretty sure I do) during a top end interview several years back well before TR and maybe even before Pritchett where Langdon said he's "forgotten more about drag racing" than Leah even knows now. Or something to that affect.

I don't know when it started either. Didn't Leah getting the Papa Johns sponsorship come into play as well???
Totally remember that.....

Yeah, so do I. Track-end interview. Something to do with staging games, possibly a deep stage or a double-bulb on her part and if Langdon was concerned about it. He laughed it off and made that comment. Still, I doubt if that would be cause to hold a years-long gripe. Every competitive drag racer out there has done the same thing at one time or another.

Cool, thanks. I was confident i remembered that correctly. I just hate coming across as gossiping, unfounded rumors, or disparaging anyone. I'm just a fan and not in the industry 😂, or not remembering every detail. That was almost 10 years ago.

Seeing as difficult as it is to get sponsors onboard, between staging games and maybe the Pap Johns deal I would assume it's related to Papa Johns. But as you said, long time to hold a grudge for something like that if indeed that's the case.

leah had some other sponsors back then too. she had that 'ice' or 'nice' beverage drink? my wife buys it sometimes.
it's pretty good. mixes with vodka and ice great. ...... she had another one too, one of those 'put out a fire' or 'fire suppressant' companies.
can't remember if either of those companies were with her when with dote racing? didn't larry morgan have a 'fire suppressant' company
back then too? when he might have been on tail end of running nhra PS?
