HARRIS HAS BEEN DOING SURVEY SINCE 1985, FOOTBALL HAS ALWAYS BEEN #1 *AUTO RACING HAS IMPROVED SINCE 1985 FROM 5% - 10%*

They questioned about 2,000 people what sports they watched on tv and 30& said their favorite was Football and 10% said their favorite was auto racing.

I agree with you, that does seem low 70% do not watch sports. I'll search some other surveys and get back to you.
