Traction control on a nitro car will only do so much. If it's gone, it's gone and no amount of whatever is going to make it come back and still run decent. Look at the aborted runs at BIR by very fast cars with so called traction control if that's the road you want to go down. If it works so great, what happened? Beckman didn't make it 2 times Sunday. Antron, Langdon, Dixon all smoked after incredible runs. Robert was on a monster pass R1 (3.90 +/-) and came loose in the middle. Hagan overshot their goal on the .87 pass, backed it off for R2 and got outrun. If the traction control was so great, why not just run it harder?
Fact of the matter is, everybody hopped the shit out of everything and the timeslips proved it. Sometimes they made it, sometimes they didn't.
