Denny Hamlin is worth $65 million. That being said, it looks like he'd be willing to share his casino winnings with all his racing friends at NitroMater.GAS PRICES, GAS PRICES!!! Nascar owner--driver, Denny Hamelin is sure not worried about gas prices. This weekend before the race in Vegas, he played the Buffalo slot and bet $300 per spin and won $65K,$87K and $127K. I play $1.20 per spin on Buffalo in Mesquite NV. that is the difference between them and us PO foks.

According to Joe Costello nitro cars are now 13,000 HP! That's a big jump from 2024.

Rickie Smith was not happy about running Gainesville eliminations in Phoenix. Smoked a motor but still won the race. Nice to see Angelle Sampey doing finish line interviews.

Q2 is taking forever between repairing track, sending PS back to meet TV windows for fuel and other delays. Running almost an hour late.
According to DRC, Brittany running without the mud flaps in Q1, and made #1 by a mile. Maybe those things never really did anything all this time? Everybody used them because........well.......everybody was using them.

He did a burnout and couldn’t get it in reverse. It took a really long time to get him back to the line and they gave Paul Lee the signal for a single.

Fun day yesterday, I know the delays sucked for live TV but getting to see a night session is always a treat. I also don't think in all the years I've gone I've ever seen Pro Stock run at night here. Probably the highlight of yesterday was Matt Hartford going #1. It's been a struggle the last few years here for them, barely qualified last year but it seems like the old car is doing it's thing.

Looks like inflation has struck everywhere.
Not quite nitro, but did anyone notice that Clint Neff, A/ED, is #1 in Comp, at 6.464? I can't remember an A/ED running that quick. This is the car with the kinda strange looking chassis & that Ford engine that I'd heard had some rat motor designs in it. Wow, 6.464. I'm so old that I remember that would have been a killer ET in T/F.
14 TF cars and 20 FCs. The place is jam packed with people. And it's hot.
