Anybody here ridden the Top Thrill Dragster ride at Cedar Point?

I took the kids to Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky,OH today as our baseball trip winds down. The first ride we went on was Top Thrill Dragster. I thought the ride was awesome! The ride launches you down a track 0-120 in 4 seconds and then sends you straight up in the air 420'. The kids all loved it, as did I. Has anybody else here taken the ride?

No but I'd sure love to try it out! I noticed they took off the Wheels and Rear wing off the cars correct?

I never have, but I have two co-workers who made a trip to sandusky last week , and they were dissappointed to find the ride closed for repairs.

I used to live in Ohio when it was built. The first couple yrs. it seems it was down more than it was running.
I think Jeg jr. was one of the first to ride it.
And no if I am not in control of it I don't like to ride, get in or on anything.

i was at cedar point about a month ago and when i went on the dragster i asked about the wing.....they said some of the paneling kept coming off and it was a bit a risk so they just took it off completely
