I know they're talking about the car, but Don's cars were called Swamp Rats, not Big Daddies.

Kind of reveals not-completely-up-to-speed drag racing knowledge.

But hey, who's picking nits? Just great to see this kind of thing.

I can't actually read the text on-screen, so you may well be right. But it says Todd Veney wrote it. I think he knows his subject.

Could be an editor got ahold of the head/title. Can't tell you how many times it's happened to me. Makes you gnash your teeth.

Regardless ... it's still great to get that kind of coverage. And Antron is such a great guy to boot.

I don't know why I used the term "girlfriend." For some odd reason it made me feel more hip. Something that hasn't really applied since the days of disco.

I didn't write that headline. Most editors write their own, and that's how it works at RACER, which is probably a good thing – just about every one they've done is better than whatever I would have come up with
