Angie Smith’s crew in running for Hard-Working Crew Award
When Angie Smith’s Coffman Tank Trucks Buell Pro Stock Motorcycle erupted
into flames following her first qualifying run of the O’Reilly Spring
Nationals at Houston, it looked like she would be a spectator for the remainder of the race, but her crew was determined to get her back on the track. They worked until early Saturday morning to fix the bike and Smith
qualified 12th for eliminations.
That effort was one of four nominated for the NHRA Full Throttle
Hard-Working Crew Award of the Year.
Fans are invited to vote for the 2010 NHRA Full Throttle Hard-Working Crew
Award of the Year. Balloting is from Nov. 1 to Nov. 15. The award winners
in each class will be honored at the season-ending awards ceremony. The
winning crews also will receive a cash bonus from title sponsor Full Throttle
Energy Drink.
