It was reported on espn that greg's best run of the weekend was thrown out, due to being light at the scales. This is becoming one of the worst seasons for greg since he started driving. Not only has greg been kicked off the 'the king of the horsepower throne' by AJ and Edwards, but he has No wins and now, i believe, his first DQ'd run. Maybe he was light due to the removal of all those GM decals !! :p:p

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ another negative G.A hate thread . remeber when tony shumacher REFUSED to get weighed and went by the scales???????????????????????? oh didnt think so. bottom line is the rest of the class has caughten up and some like mike edwards has passed team summit in horsepower. oh well, nothing lasts forever but my money is still on greg winning a few before the year is over, he aint finished yet!

whoa there fella, u got me all wrong. i am a huge GA fan and i'm constantly amazed how often he gets pissed on by members of this forum for reasons i still cant understand. i thought i was just making a comment on how bad his season was going, compared to his previous years. but i guess it was just taken the wrong way !!

Greg Anderson, and Jason Line, are still the measuring stick for the entire class. Granted Mike Edwards and my man AJ seem to have caught him, I still look to see what GA runs as a way of measuring how AJ is doing. I'm pretty sure most of us are doing the same thing with our favorite drivers.

I'm obviously a Mopar man, but I've always given credit to the Summit cars for beging the barometer of the class. Until another team has a significant power advantage for several consecutive years, GA is still the King!

"caughten up"
I need a new dictionary.
Maybe it means: "has made pro stock interesting again"

We don't talk that way, even down here in Texas.

As to interesting, perhaps this will jog the ol' memories, of a few...

Sorry for derailing the thread. Carry on... :D

Man ain't that a fact Tim. It takes so many things to line up right for a driver to win ONE event, I'm amazed when anyone can dominate for any period of time. The Summit cars are still killer, but nobody in any class can stay on top forever (maybe Manzo? LOL). I think it's cool when the outcomes are unpredictable, like Bob Frey says, "That's we we don't race 'em on paper" (in so many words).
