Tough to see Allen shake the tires in both hits today. He qualified 13th. He's been very inconsistent all year. Honestly, I can't figure out why in the world he decided to field a new car during the chase. You don't gain consistency by fielding an all new car, unless he realized he didn't have a shot at it anyway. Seems cRaZy to me....

Just for the record, he broke a motor in the first session today.

And he had been fighting the old car a bit, Nobile's car seemed to be better so he ordered one like the kid has.

Thanks Alan. That's a shame, Roy builds enough power to win (Summit cars excluded), but debuting a new car during the Chase won't win anyone a championship. I suppose we're working on next year at this point.
