Eddyville was cool, that's a neat place. 1st time I had been there. The 11 hour delayed flight wasn't much fun, but it did allow me to set a personal record that I didn't even know I was after. I was in town less than 24 hours, and spent two nights in the hotel! No Kidding!!!!!

Lebanon Valley was great as always (Except for the 17 hour delayed flight that caused me to miss test and tune day completely) But that track has a fun group to work with and the weather was good, racing great.

I'm in DFW changing planes, heading to Woodburn this week after a suitcase swap, then whatever happens after that.

Stay Tuned..... As for email, [email protected] works.

Alan with the Holiday and storms across the country travel has been terrible. i haven't had a flight recently that i didnt experience delays. Sat on the tarmac in Denver for over two hours last week, had over 40 planes behind us waiting to take off. Good luck on your travels and happy to hear your still contributing to the sport.

Nice to hear you this weekend. I must have missed the explanation but why were TD and TS running eighth mile? Is that going to be a new thing?

That's awesome! You probably didn't sleep long, but you slept hard!

What little I saw online (more might hatch later) was a clip of a car doing a run and they mentioned it was cool having you at the facility!

Here it is... So I ain't the only one that wants to hear more! (We'll keep on the lookout for more too.)

Thank you to Eddyville Raceway Park for the invite to the 29th Annual Musco Lighting Night of Fire. We had a blast! We had a couple match races lined up - Ran Dominator the first pass and Alan Fangman in his Nitro Pro Mod the second. Had Alan Reinhart on the mic and the fans loved the show. Even broke the track record for door cars on both passes!

Eddyville was a neat event. They even put me on the event T-shirt! LoL Just a fun evening with some cool stuff that didn't cost the track a fortune to bring in. It's a great track good surface, MUSCO lights and a hard core crowd that appreciated all the cars.

That is one perk of my position now. When I was under contract to NHRA I was not allowed to do events for tracks under other sanction (Eddyville is WDRA) and that is perfectly understandable. But now any track that calls, I am open to the possibility.

Loved hearing your voice at the Valley this past weekend. Thanks for the kind words during the weekend.

I covered the D1 races at Lebanon Valley for about 15 years. It was always one of the biggest pains to work at because of the drive to get there. But it was also one of the most fun because of the people who work there. The drive home on Sunday night on the 4th of July weekend, from the track past NYC and on to Philly, was always bad. I got smart a couple of times and stayed over Sunday night.
