I just want to once again congratulate Al Ackerman, Dave Ring, and everyone who helped him this year on his unbelievable championship run coupled with an Indy win. Not only did he score the most points in NHRA Competition Eliminator history but he also won the championship by the largest margin. Al has worked a long time on building and perfecting his 4 cylinder program and all of the hard work finally paid off. The ProStart car was a consistent contender to win every race you attended.
Also, congratulations to Glen Treadwell on his 2nd Place championship finish in his ProStart built G/ED. Like Al, Glen also builds all of his own motors and this just shows you that hard work really does pay off. Glen's dragster is actually Richard Bourke's A/ED before he stepped up to A/Fuel.
