Aaron completed his TF licensing at the 'Plex in Stewart's car, 3.76 at a planned 800 foot shutoff. His previous licensing pass was 3.79@318 in the same car back at Indy. Stewart and Leah signed off on his license. I haven't seen or followed the story but this tells me Freeman intends to campaign two fuelers.

I thought Tony Stewart's car and Leah's (soon to be Schumacher's) car were both run out of the Freeman camp. It's always a bit hard to keep track of this stuff without being at the races. So if Aaron goes Top Fuel racing, the thinking is he would also run a Freeman car? Then that would be 3 Freeman dragsters, right? And what about Erica possibly going TF racing in the near future?

Leah’s car is not part of Elite. It’s part of TSR.

I have always thought that it was different that he owns one team TSR and races for another team Elite. There could be a lot of hurt feelings during the year depending on points battles.

They work together. Leah's crew chief used to work for Mike Greene who is Stewart's crew chief. They do share much info. Not your typical relationship for sure.

As long as they're not sharing one another's wives I suppose all is well. Stanfield seems to do quite well regardless of what he's driving so best of luck to him. We need more quality youth to carry on the nitro classes.

It would be the same if he drove for TSR. Should he take a dive against his wife or Tony Schumacher and vice versa?

Wonder if Erica Enders is going to drive a third car?

Top Fuel might be looking pretty good to Erica these days, as i believe she is on one of the longest winless droughts in her career. It's probably not gonna get easier for her in Pro Stock. It's bad enough She Already has to battle the KB guys, but There are some great drivers on her own team, that she also needs to get by, for her long over due win. She still has a good competitive car and still sharp on the tree and i predict she will win one of the last 2 races.

they say she'll still run PS even if she gets funding for TF. Double trouble!

I believe her struggle in P/S is because she doesn't have the pick from the best engine package anymore. Money talks from the other ones leasing from Richard.
