Just a heads-up. Lucas Oil On the Edge (on SPEED) is showing Fuel Altereds on Monday 03-18 from Oskaloosa LA. This is a repeat show from June 2012, so sorry if it is old news to some. It's always nice to see the Awful Awfuls on TV

just reading the TV info. I am sure they're BB, but hey, it's atypical drag racing coverage....I guess I'm used to false advertising.....9 out of 10 auto racing sanctioning bodies seem to call "their" cars the "world's fastest motorsport"

and the semis and finals are at night, they have to be BB, I remember match races at Englishtown with James Guifford's Punisher and Duane Beers's Fuelish Behavior Prowler and both of them are BB Altered

If its the race I think it is the World Fuel Altered Nationals(just a name)... The race is from Eddyville Raceway in Oskaloosa, Iowa... The field contains both alky and nitro cars... Always a good event!

Now it makes sense ! They are Outlaws but most of them burn a high percentage of NITRO !
Tim LaHay used to burn 100 % in his Chevy powered Hayride AA/FA
I loved to hear that thing cackle at about 4,000 . RIP Tim !
Our own Rapid Randy can fill us in on that race .
He's the resident insane Altered Jockey .

For those cars it's cheaper to order body parts by gross . Evil handling short wheelbase nothing but a huge engine sitting between two rails.
Bet anything over 1800 Lb's Is a boat anchor .
