I just saw this article on Facebook and before I read it I wanted to share here. Though I've known and respected Steve for several years, I've recently have gotten to know him a lot better. I can honestly say that he is one of the persons I admire the most. That's why I will support his efforts as best I can.

When Steve Gibbs is gone, who will take his place? Man, this story brought back a lot of memories of me growing up in Glendale, Calif. We had a Market Basket there. I went to San Fernando Drags in 1961, then San Gabe & Lions. I always loved being a spectator & even got to the point where I could tell if the a fueler was on a good run. Could listen to a nitro 392 Chrysler & tell you if it was making power. The going to the drags hook went in way back then. I'm 73 & I still love going to the drags - it's the one constant in my life that I really love doing.
