4) SPONSOR OF THE YEAR - TORCO or LUCAS OIL - These two companies put so much into Drag Racing.

Here are my selections, Vegas would be the obvious choice for track of the year, so I decided to go with a potential sleeper. For some reason my picks ended up in the quoted box, not sure why though.

I'm saving typing time and going with Arthur's votes, although I might have to nominate Mike Iacono for Sportsman of the year-he took Lee Zane's stocker to Atlanta when the D1 Stock championship was still in question and Lee could have widened his lead on Mike-that struck me as extremely generous.

quite an accomplishment i'd say.

ya know I didn't even think of John Medlen for person of the year. I believe that is a better choice then Wally. Wally will receive many other accolades. John is most deserving
