60' for T/AD

Looking at Thursday best runs for T/AD. Shawn Cowie is #1 at 5.181 - 280.08. Shawn had a 60' time of .917 and 1/8 times of 3.438 - 224.70. Joey Severance, who ran 5.12 last year, is down the list at 5.269 - 236.13. He had a monster 60' of .0881, with 1/8 times of 3.416 - 222.00. I think that Severance is the only blown alky dragster (and probably the only T/AD) that is running .80 60' times. He did that last year on the 5.12 run. Severance only made one run Thur, so am interested in what he will do today. If he can get it all the way down track, you might see another 5.12.

Pretty sure I’ve seen team Haberman’s blown methanol cars post 0.08x 60’ times. I’ll check. EDIT: Yes, both Timo and Dennis have regularly clocked 0.088-089 at Santa Pod. Nothing like as quick as Joey after that though!

Wish I could see Team Haberman in the USA. I watch the alky cars in Europe & Australia, and there are some hitters I wish could race here.
