Weather conditions look good in Vegas this weekend. Coolish, dry and light winds are forecast.

Brittany has gone 338 at LVMS; can she, or someone else, go 340?

The DA right now is 3480 ft.. It is not going to be any better and really up to 4000 ft. at any time the fuel cars are running so don't expect any earth shattering times. Air density in the very low 90's with water grains in the 30's.

Well it would be impossible to have that since both tracks are in completely different climates and elevations. However Las Vegas does offer low humidity, low water grains and thinner air. We've always run more speed at Vegas because of the thinner air.
Also, No trees for oxygen like M/G.

maybe someone should eclipse 340, so changes can be put in place for 2022 and beyond to slow everyone down.
i think that is in the best interest for everyone involved. if 340 is not eclipsed, IMO racing will continue next year unabated
Careful or we'll be at 680' next...

Looks like the best shot is to reschedule second round of qualifing for 8:00 AM tomorrow and hope the track holds.;)
Appearently nobody told Grubby that the conditions wern't all that good. If they can get that 8:00 AM second round in He might just do it.o_O

I saw Alan Johnson back with Mike Salinas. They could make a real quick run also. I think the Top speed will be with Brittany as that's part of Grubby's tuneup.
