30 days without Hot water!

No not me, my brother met a gal from Russia on the internet, and has been there twice to visit. He just left this morning for a third time, but he found out the part of Moscow she lives in is going through a "Hot water Black out" for 30 days! Yuck!!!

Yup.. my girl in Moscow gets her hot water cut off in July for about a month while the government does routein annual maintenance on the delivery system. Seems that the buildings don't do their own hot water heaters- the hot tip in Russia is to send your friends a small (15-20 gallon) hot water heater that they can install in their apartment (without the landlord knowing, of course!! )... 30 days of cold showers makes for a grumpy girl!!!

All good Suzie Q... In DC for the next couple of days, then we hit the southeast for a few. Pictures are up on the MySpace page- the show (in its 4 different versions already- we've only been out since the 1st..) looks pretty good, and is starting to get rave reviews... It's VERY different- very Ms. Badu. I got a mention in the Boston Globe last week- woohoo!!! See ya at the end of the run- we may sneak a Dallas date in around mid-June..
