So, I know there is a new class in the So. Cal area, and it's going to run at the March Meet. 250" max, rear engine nostalgia dragsters with the FC motor rules. Does anybody know who is building them?? Or pics of completed cars??

I believe Victory had made one that was on display at Bakersfield.

The nostalgia stuff is getting bizarre.

1. For 10 years or so it was nothing but FED, and a few fuel alterds, just like the 1960's.

2. Then F/C came along and stole the show, just like the early 1970's

3. After the birth of F/C, RED's came along.

The historical timeline is earily repeating.

Would love to see Prudhomme revive the red wedge for nostalgia racing.

These are really beautiful cars.

My worry is that further diluting participation and spectator interest in nos. fuel racing with more classes at the top, especially in a down economy, may end up being a negative thing.

Fewer, but more fully subscribed classes would make the whole deal stronger.
