Clay's comment for doing it was an industry wide problem with main studs pulling out. So by swapping the short block it makes it easier to repair on the bench rather than in the chassis. Question I have is it all or just his engine block of choice.

All of them. It's less common on the newer 4-bolt main blocks, but it still happens to those. RWR runs the 4-bolt.
