2026 LUCAS EVENTS

Good to see Lucas is still going to be a sponsor of NHRA drag racing for 2026. Forrest Lucas died this year, so I wasn't sure if there would be any major changes with their sponsorships. Assume Charlotte and Morgan are running the company, so presume it is still family owned. Until they sell it to a big hedge fund or some corporation, we should be in good shape with these Lucas motorsports sponsorships.

Good move merging the National events in. I like how Indy counts for all 4 regions.
Their are now only 3 Regions, North Central and Central were merged.

For selfish reasons, kind of disappointed as my track, World Wide Technology Raceway (Gateway) now does not have any Alcohol cars race their. But it is a good move and hope it helps.

I don't think Charlotte has much to do with the day-to-day operations of the company. Morgan is CEO, and his wife Katie is the President.

not only are they merged into 3 regions, but it looks like indy is listed for all 3 regions, my guess so everyone is invited and can
use or throw away points earned there. seems like a really good move for the LODRS.
the one that it is really different is a north central divisional listed at lucas oil raceway park on sept. 7-9. the 7th is labor day.

I see that on the schedule as August 7-9

There were some strange dates though (the Monday/Tuesday of Stampede of Speed has stayed):

No Problem Raceway

March 25-26

No Problem Raceway (Laris Cajun SPORTSnationals)

March 27-29

3/25 is a Tuesday.

Sonoma Raceway

July 15-16

July 15-16 is Weds/Thurs. Guess they are having a Divisional leading into the Nationals?
