New events, diverse schedule highlights 2026 Lucas Oil Series season

NHRA has announced the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series schedule for the upcoming 75th anniversary season in 2026 with 47 divisional events, three SPORTSnationals, and events at new venues.

Good to see Lucas is still going to be a sponsor of NHRA drag racing for 2026. Forrest Lucas died this year, so I wasn't sure if there would be any major changes with their sponsorships. Assume Charlotte and Morgan are running the company, so presume it is still family owned. Until they sell it to a big hedge fund or some corporation, we should be in good shape with these Lucas motorsports sponsorships.
