2026 IHRA Schedule (2 Viewers)

Is their an actual schedule out yet, Have seen 3 schedules posted on site other than IHRA, 2 have Memphis as TBA and one says the Sportsmans World Finals. I know it is a work in progress but where is this info coming from.

Also, one i have seen says Pro Mod Mania in Milan. MI. not to be stupid, but are not most of these guys in the South East. Does not seem to make much sense to have a big race like that away from the home base of cars. Galot or even Columbus I think would be a better choice for the first year at least.

I think some of the confusion stems from two drag racing schedules being announced during the IHRA's PRI Show presentation. All of them are provisional right now, but there is one schedule for the IHRA Outlaw Nitro Series and another for the IHRA Sportsman Series. It sounds like the former is what you are interested in.

The schedules were shown on a big projector screen but there were also physical schedule cards handed out at the IHRA's booth, which should be what the pictures on social media are of.

The Sportsman Series schedule is for the sportsman divisional bracket finals and then the sportsman national championships are set to be decided at Memphis Motorsports Park.

A few weeks later, the professional Outlaw Nitro Series is  also set to end its season in Memphis.

As for Pro Mod Mania: This seems to be the new name for last year's Outlaw Pro Mod Nationals. That race was originally announced to be at Kil-Kare Raceway in Xenia, Ohio, but the IHRA decided to move the race up to Milan because the state of Kil-Kare at the time wasn't where they wanted the track to be for a big race, if I recall correctly. Perhaps the racers decided that they liked having it at Milan and that's what the IHRA went with for the second edition.

Just seems like a long tow for the base of guys based in the South East. Always here about racers not wanting to go to certain places because of cost to get their.

Thank you for your information
