correct. .the only blowers that require certifications are screw blowers. the overdrive is so high that the rotors need to be checked for cracks. plus in a PSI screw, one of the rotors is actually 2 pieces epoxied together so that has to be checked. . roots blowers use billet rotors.

I guess that does makes sense, I was at Phoenix when Mike Troxell's PSI came apart! Talk about a Metal shower!!!:eek:

But Whipple's needed Certicfication, Not sure if they were considered a Screw, but they turned them like 65% over!

yes the whipple is a screw. I think it's a deal that once nhra and sfi decided one screw blower needed to be certified then ALL screw blowers needed to be certified.
