What a fun blast from the past, thanks for posting this. The increase in performance through the years has simply been amazing...nearly 100 mph increase in Top Fuel.

On a side note, I dig Dave's big honkin' side burns!

Awesome, that was a really decent sized top fuel field. Watching that first round it just kept on going with cars after cars after cars.

I'm pretty sure that rag wrapper is Bob DeVour. And then note how he calms Jeb down letting him know it's handled. He's a cool SOB! Always has been, always will be...
