Anybody know if the funny cars will be limited to one day or what format they will be using?

They will make one hit on Friday, two on Sat. and eliminations on Sunday. I believe they are running two 8 car brackets.

Minick is thawed. It is supposed to be above freezing today. It will help him appreciate the 105+ days in summer while he is working the clutch or something.

I wish I could get out there again. But, I don't think this year will happen.

Last March they had a 'fast 8' and a 'slow 8' field.

Yes I'm still working with Dale. I will be doing my Chuy's Fuel Altered race in Sept. with the Division 7 race. We are going to do a free admission deal.

We still have the restraining order against you so you can only get within 100ft. Thursday night at Chuy's you will still be allowed to buy drinks.

There thinking is that there is only 3 rounds to run on Sunday that they currently finish up approx. 5 or 6 PM. With the extra round it makes it an 8PM deal. Why they can't make it 16 car field and run 1st round on Saturday like they do the T/F is beyond me.

Dan don't be confused, Blake and John Bowser and the great track crew will have it all figured out by raceday. It may become a 16-car field, everybody will just have to hurry up between rounds - one round of nitro qualifying on Friday & two rounds on Saturday.

It is their business and they have proven over and over that they know what to do.

The Chuy's Fuel Altered Classic is the best Altered show on the West Coast. We bring in 18-24 cars both Alcohol and Nitro. Last year Mike Boyd in the Sullivan and Haight car ran a track record 5.42 and a 5.62 at 270 mph.
It's a greast show. (my opinion)
