Clint Thompson triumphantly returned to Woodburn Oregon after a two year absence to break in Woodburn Dragstrip’s new all-concrete track at the Season Opener. Not only did Thompson lay lots of rubber down on the new surface but he broke the track’s ET record for the Top Alcohol Funny Car class. Atlanta - Duane Shields and the Shortline Express team won the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event at Atlanta Dragway in front of a good crowd.
