“Our car has really started to come around performance-wise in the back half of the season but unfortunately, we had some stumbles in Charlotte and St. Louis that put us behind in the points. We’re holding down the No. 10 spot heading into the Dallas race this weekend and truthfully, that’s not where we want to be. Our Bandero GR Supra team is better than that and we’re going to give it everything we’ve got heading into these final three to prove that. I have nothing but confidence in Del (Worsham) and my team. We’re capable of putting up big numbers and our team is hungry for that Q2 bonus purse on Friday night. The Stampede of Speed is always a spectacle, one that I’m very much looking forward to, but make no mistake, we’re focused on the mission at hand and that is going rounds and gathering points. We’d love a top five finish to close out the year but in order to do that, we have to start making some big moves this weekend. There are only 46 points separating us from the No. 6 ranked driver so there’s certainly room to make up ground.”
