“I’m really charged to go back to Epping. I consider that one of my home tracks because half my family is from Rhode Island. This is the race that they all get to go to, and I’ve had some good runs there in the past. I’ll be happy to see them out at the track, and they’re excited to come and support the team.
“This season, we’ve gone to the finals and semifinals but we’re still looking for that first Wally with John Force Racing, and we’re coming to get it done this weekend. It would be absolutely incredible to have that moment with my family. Our Bandero Café team has what it takes; we’re right there. Going out in the first round last weekend was heartbreaking, but it was a good race; it was very close. I didn’t see (Ron Capps) all the way down. These guys work so hard on the car and it’s frustrating because I want to win so bad for them, but I’m happy that we just get to go right back at it and have another shot at going rounds. That’s always good after a first-round loss.”
