qualifying underway @ charlotte. 'mission' is listed as a sponsor for angelle sampey. could that become more prominent in future?
there are 8 non-full time TF'rs this weekend. who will qualify? and who will advance to E2?
my .02 guess is doug foley and spencer massey. one of them will be in E3.
in FC, going with bobby bode to make it to E3.
another guess is monty bogan to advance and possible chance for rare double up in STK and SS.

Q2 paul lee with a 3.829!......Q2 on utube free rite now
langdon 3.66, 3rd to 300 in the 1/8
DK 3.64

Wonder if utube is moving faster then nhra.tv? Lohnes and Pedregon are wearing me out. Since their not on Fox tv tonight why do they have to ruin my broadcast ?

Q2 FC ...... wow! not sure if we'll see another session like this for a while. these guys were hooked hard and charging.
tasca and prock same fastest mph @ 1/8 ..... capps with low 60' @ .860 ..... once again, it's jonnie and john putting paul on top.
dan and spencer #3 and #4. awesome. the final threesome of tasca, hyde, and hagan was great.

1) 3.829 Paul Lee's incremental times: 60ft-0.866 sec., 330ft-2.212, 660ft-3.099/290.19 mph.
2)3.844 Austin Prock's incremental times: 60ft-0.866 sec.,330ft-2.228, 660ft-3.117/290.38 mph.

factory showdown Q3 ...... unbelievable how fast this is. compared to #1 in X category
1) Jason Dietsch '18 Mustang 7.715 177.91 178.00

factory X Q3: 1) Lenny Lottig '24 Camaro 6.902 194.32 195.19

Looks like Enders' problems are still with her. Not a matter of power...her MPH is comparable to the rest of the field...but they just can't get that car to 60-foot. .999 and 1.06 in Q1 and Q2 aren't going to win races when the heavy hitters are putting down .960s and .70s and it explains why her ETs are .05-.07 off the leaders. 0.69 and 0.48 aren't representative RT's for her either and that might not be all her doing. That car just isn't moving at the hit and it's been plagued with that problem since the beginning of the 2025 season which has relegated her to 14th in points standings.

Freeman blames the fuel but I don't. Everybody's running the same fuel and it doesn't explain why that car is such a comparative turd at the hit.

matthew cummings picks up his first win with randy meyers racing, beating j. fricke this afternoon @ zmax,
the postponed final from gainesville......runs a 5.18 for win. also has a 5.17 this weekend to put him #1Q for zmax.

Yup. I just watched a video from the back, I don’t think she got it as shallow as she wanted it for qualifying.
That was a high .64 or .65 shallow.

That’s her 4th run over 300 to the 1/8 this season, Grubnic sure has it running good
From looking at her 60 - 330 split, I'd say a mid 3.65 at best.

Would love to see 342 in T/F!!!!
LOL
Q4 participants would have killed just to see 242. If Sunday's TF field were to be based on the last session, half of the Pro Stocks on the property would qualify.

Wonder why they were so loose? It wasn't all that hot - about 80. Did the track prep crew substitute 5W30 Synthetic for the normal traction compound?

Seems like no doubt the mudflaps can make a big difference in speed.
I’ve often wondered what a Gary Ormsby-like aero package would do these days. I think it would be pretty good. Cars are heavy enough as it is, I think they could fit it on and keep it at the weight limit. Probably would be so freaking expensive and not make a huge difference unless you were Brittany Force or Doug Kalitta.

There obviously is something wrong with that car. How it could be so wrong is a mystery.

The track still isn't like it was in Q2 and it wasn't even 70 degrees when eliminations began. Half of the field couldn't make full pulls, mostly because of traction issues. Antron Brown advanced to the next round with a trap speed of 113mph. LOL

Fri night was great. Since then, the racing hasn’t been good and the pace dreadfully slow. Too much time between runs, too much time between rounds, the usual cleanups, lots of banter. As a show….not good at all.
Why was this track ‘tricky’ at 105 degrees, low humidity etc. in E1?

Still hate 4 wide. Oops.
