<P>MEMPHIS, Tenn. (September 30, 2008) -- T.J. Zizzo made the most of his trip to the O’Reilly NHRA Mid-South Nationals at Memphis Motorsports Park this past weekend. While he drove the PEAK/HERCULINER/O'Reilly Top Fuel Dragster to a respectful 14th qualifying position, he bowed out early in a tough contest with Countdown to the Championship contender Doug Kalitta. Some would be disappointed with the outcome, Zizzo leaves Memphis happy.

"Doug had a better car than us this weekend, Zizzo explained. "That's all it boils down to. We'll have to get him next time."

"We may not have had the best weekend on the track, but we had a great weekend at the track," Zizzo added. "It was one of those races that I had an opportunity to spend some extra time with our sponsors and fans. I'd love to do more of that."

Race week started for Zizzo on Thursday when he offered racing advice to O'Reilly Auto Parts customers participating in the Customer Appreciation Race. He also made an appearance at Coyote Ugly with other NHRA stars on behalf of PEAK and O'Reilly.

"My entire drag racing career has been behind the wheel of dragster. I'm not sure how much good advice I was able to offer O'Reilly customers racing identically prepared Pontiac G6's, but we had a lot of fun with it," Zizzo laughed.

"There were a lot of great activities going on around the race for us in Memphis," Zizzo said about the activities surrounding his race team at the event. "We had O'Reilly store managers from Louisiana and Texas hanging out with our team, getting down in the trenches, getting dirty, eating with the team and everything. I even had a chance to meet some PEAK Motor Oil distributors. Everywhere I turned there were people having a great time and getting hooked on drag racing and that's really what our whole deal is about," Zizzo said. "We want people to come be a part of something special and I'm glad we get to help with that."

Brian Bohlander, HERCULINER Brand Manager, has been happy with PEAK's association with Zizzo Racing. "The Zizzo team is a tremendous group that continues to get closer to breaking out from the pack at each event," he said. "It was a great weekend for PEAK and for our customers, particularly the winners of our promotion at O'Reilly. They had a great time gaining access that few fans are ever allowed at a major sporting event."
