I was cruising team sites today and the two hole hat only Mike Neff runs is front and center on JFR site. Think this has been mentioned before, but I don't recall any detailed information. Was it built by JFR and what is the possible advantage?

I don't know the full deal behind it, but I can tell you it was built in Europe. Not 100% sure if it was designed too.

They had an entire interview with John Medlen about it when it first came out, must have been late 2005. He said something to the effect of, he thought it was better, and until proven otherwise, he would continue to do so.

Okay, I always thought it was a guy named "Knut" who built those. Looks like he just sold them.

Thanks Ron. I'm on the eurodragster site at the moment, going back on old news, I know I only read a few months ago about them being built in Europe. But my eyes are getting sore now trying to find the article. I'll try again later.

The current Injector hat being used by Mike Neff is being built by Aerodine Composites Group in Indianapolis.

Thanks Kyle! We're going to be in Indy for a week for the 500 and will have lots of time for shop tours. If you have contact information or a link to Aerodine, please let me know. All of the Old Farts are huge gearheads - we would really like to see how these thingies are made! - :cool:
 
Aerodine is responsable for holding many competition secrets therefor does not allow any one but employees in the shop.
