Today I ran across the Budweiser Clydesdale's hauler; quite an impressive rig I might add; rivals any pro race car hauler out there, with not one speck of dust on it. I remember when Kenny retired they gave him a horse. What ever became of that horse? Didn't they donate it to some farm or organization - something like that?

(no glue or dog food jokes please) :)

the Clydesdale operation is very impressive,no dirt spotless, horses groomed immaculate have seem them several times

Back in the old days when I would come down to breakfast in the morning looking a little hungover, my dad would ask. Out making payments on them Clydesdales again last night?

there are actually 2 places, one where the horses are kept, one for the breeding program

I visited where they keep the Clydesdales once in St Louis and decided that in my next life I want to come back as a Clydesdale!

i sit and wonder why some people think of things to post that will only cost us time of our lives we will never get back. ..

I and 30,000 of my closest friends were at Pomona when Budweiser gave KB the horse. Bud pretty much never does that and so it was a remarkable gesture. Lots of gasps in the crowd when they announced it.

It was being shown on the big screen and I vivdly remember KB being visibly overwhelmed with the gift.

Yes, he was trying to figure out where he was going to put a 2000l b 8 ft tall horse that eats 50 lbs a day and poops the same.

Jeff Gordon was given two Shetland Ponies when he retired.....just saying!

Maybe it's just me, but I always thought giving the gift of a Clydesdale, or even a Shetland Pony, was a bit strange. I mean, on one hand cool, but in reality, you just got handed a huge responsibility and expense. Am I looking at it wrong?
