Keith Stark made an attempt to do that in 2004 with the IHRA.

I don't believe he had the funding to make it work.

I think Alan has enough problems and that A/Fueler is a totally different animal.

So gotta wonder what T/AD would run w/o restrictions. Joey Severance holds low ET at 5.12, set at Vegas some years ago. Add a D screw blower & clutch management system, and I'd guess 4.90 at 286. (Guess). I think an injected 500" nitro car w/ clutch mgt system & 99% could run 4.80's at over 290.

I could be wrong.

How so? His parts have been used in the alky classes for years, and the McPhillips boys are some of the best out there in terms of injected fuel combos. So, no wholesale change is on the horizon to suddenly put an A/Fueler into the 4's.

The Magic 8-ball says "Outlook not so good". The 5.09 could fall but no 4s.

I love watching these cars, especially when a fueler is matched up with a blower car and there's not as many aborted runs as their TF counterparts either. I'd like to see more injected fuel cars in TAFC, too.
