1:15 AZ time. Watching T/D Q. No problem w/ sound, altho video is a bit blurry. Still......

Bob Button, T/AD, blown Hemi, running electronic fuel injection. Alan says it was just approved by NHRA. Shut off run so far. Joey Severance & Shawn Cowie are there. Guess who I'n bettin' on? heh

Today's T/AD & TA/FC are test N tune only. Doug Gordon best in TA/FC at 5.50 - 265. Shawn Cowie best ET for T/AD at a shut off 5.27 - 248. Air temp is 60 degrees, and overcast. No snow, ice, sleet, high winds, tornados, none of that.
Northern AZ has had all of that except for tornados, altho Flagstaff airport had 78 MPH winds one day. Flagstaff had over 62" of snow in Jan, 3rd highest level since 1895.

Cliff, thank you so much for the weather report. For those who don't know, Cliff is the local weather person on
NBC channel 69 in Phoenix. See picture below.

Bob Button's car is cool, saw it at Seattle last year. It was approved on 2/3/2023 Man I love Alky Dragster (A/Fuel rules)

Actually, I do the weather for KRUD AM & FM. They don't let me on TV cuz I have white hair & body custom by fork. Y'all remember George Carlin and his Hippy Dippy Weather Man routine?

BTW, didn't see any injected nitro F/C at Wild Horse. Was kinda hoping one would be there.

Am watching and sound and picture are PERFECT for me! Excited to get the season rolling for Alcohol, and am also excited for the D4 COMP Kickoff in LA! I'll be back-and-forth streaming!

But back on topic, the new NHRA tv seems pretty good - watched all day Thursday and Friday since I have a TV in my office (work at home), except when I'm in Zoom meetings of course. Easy to scroll back and forth even in small increments. The audio between announcers and cars seemed pretty well balanced, and while I'd like to have the cars shake the walls, there's simply no substitute for being there. I have mini computers attached to most of my TVs for streaming and was able to have two TVs playing at once, so I could watch upstairs or down for a total immersion experience :)

I signed up for the free TV on NHRA. Latest news from Wild Horse is track is being dried now and racing to start at 11 AM AZ time (mountain time). YEA!

Is the NHRA goin back to the older (pre 2011) Christmas tree? Noticed they had the yellow prestage/stage bulbs at Wild Horse

The green light in the left lane looked "late" to me? And the "red" in the right was dull! A lot of glare from the sun though.
Didn't like the 4 way split screen and the camera changer in the truck was still a little behind the action at times, still!
Sound seemed much better. We'll see at Gainesville.
