Has anyone heard whats happening there? It was supposed to have started yesterday, but have not seen anything on NHRA.com or CompetitionPlus.

Anyone surprised by early shutoff passes at the first test session of the season? That's the way they always do it. Gotta walk before you run.

Just saw on JFR Twitter feed that Brittany ran a 3.769 @ 316.82. Some videos there and on the DSR Twitter feed as well. But haven't seen any other E.T.'s or Speeds. I assume day 1 stats will show up within a day.

All 3 of the JFR funny cars were in the 80s.
Here's the quickest runs of the day.

Robert Hight 3.886
Courtney Force 3.894
Tommy Johnson Jr. 3.904
Matt Hagan 3.95
Alexis DeJoria 4.00
Ron Capps 4.01
Jack Beckman 4.03
J.R. Todd 4.03
John Force 4.15

Antron Brown 3.701
Tony Schumacher 3.705
Brittany Force 3.769
Steve Torrence 3.82
Troy Coughlin 4.08
Leah Pritchett 4.29
Clay Millican 4.72

Thanks, I wasn't keeping score and TJ's run got stuck in my head for some reason. We're back at it in a couple of hours.

And if anybody's out there this weekend stop me and say hello, I'm wearing a red and black Mac Tools hat.

Does anyone have a testing schedule for Saturday?
we have tickets, i know the gate open at 8 but do they start at 8?

Thanks

I don't know if there's a special time for today; but, we've been starting around 10am to let the track temperature warm up a little.

We got there about 8:30 and like you said not much happened till about 10 which was fine because we had plenty of time to walk the pits and see the sights.
Great Day, Great weather!!
