my money too.
spent some more time on youtube last nite and discovered a plethora
of video from last monday's show.
have always been a zep fan - should i say that watching these videos
and reading the reviews has more than rejuvinated my appetite.
they are truly in their own league.
the 'never done live' performance of 'For your life' is incredible.
i'm almost thinking Paul McCartney & Mick Jagger in audience
were probably thinking.......yep, that's how we should have done it.
tour? bring it on. i will be one of millions attempting to buy tickets
if they come to the USA.
I was listening to the review of the show on the radio last week and they were interviewing an Aussie guy who was there. The subject of a '08 tour came up and he said, being in the industry, he had heard many rumours but nothing definate. He did however say that someone had hired out Madison Sq Garden next year for 14 consecutive days. The question was posed - just which band/event is big enough to warrant that ?
Guess we'll see next year.
Would obviously be a major event.
Of all the bands I seen/liked over the years, probably only Led Zep and the Beatles are the only bands I will never get to see ....
i've still been looking at/reading zep forums and trying to find new
articles in reference to the 02 arena show and possible future dates.
all i can say is i'm still getting my daily youtube fix from that show.
the song 'for your life' is so heavy, much less the rest of the show.
absolutely incredible stuff.
