Was there any Pro FC racing? What time did the power go out? Saw some mention of a long track clean-up. Thinking maybe Bader maybe taking a big hit, not sure of what happens if no show. I am assuming no FC or Jets ran as I am seeing no reports of any action.

Also what is the official capcity of Norwalks seats, anyone know.

He is a class guy, and runs a great track!

I was there. Not sure what time the power went out. This is the second time this has happened when I've been there.

The funny cars and dragsters ran once, after the 7 pm start.

Motz dumped jet fuel all over the starting line. Long delay.

Donk crash, long delay.

I read some of the responses to the tracks Facebook posts. Most people seem to have been gracious and understanding. Not too much bitching. Stuff happens. Heard a drunk driver hit a power pole and that is what caused the outage.

My personal image when I hear donk is of a slammed Caprice with custom rims and no-sidewall tires.
Thanks Brad, I learned something new today. Here in the woods of Washington State we don't have
any Donks (I have never seen one anyway) cruising the back roads. Street Rods yes, but no Donks.
I really don't care for the Disco Wheels

So, for the second time a drunk driver takes out the power to the facility, during Night Under Fire? Unbelievable.

They got one complete rd in. Even with the delay ( because of the track damage ) they were running in there 2nd round when power went out. Power outage
wasn't just at the track. Most ppl seemed to be pretty understanding about what happened. Not alot you can do when the whole area loose's power.

it would be insteresting to know if track had more spectators over 3 day nat. event? or sold out crowd saturday nite?

Maybe NHRA should think about using Bob's truck when they have to scrape the starting line. That would
sell more tickets. But then again durning that down time they can't sell that $8.50 weiner and $12.00 beer

good study on what attracts drag racing fans when this event and a nat. event are held about a month apart.

Thanks for the replies folks! That could have ended a whole lot different.

But as I have said from the time of it's inception - "THE MOST AWESOME VEHICLE IN DRAG RACING, BAR NONE"

Bader, keep knocking it out of the park!!
