I enjoyed the 8 am Central Time start. I had plenty of Sunday afternoon left to run errands.

I am on the west coast and the early time didn't bother me on NHRA-TV.. I waited until about 10:30am, turned it on and just ran it back to the start. Worked great, I could skip anything I wanted and ended up the same time as the final rounds on Indy time. I used to get up early so I wouldn't miss anything then found that on NHRA-TV I could pause it, run it back to see something again and not have to worry about oil downs, Mello Yello and other commercials. Worked great.
