Ware misses the mark at NHRA Gatornationals
Disturbed Motorsports team not qualified in Gainesville

The Disturbed Motorsports Pro Modified Camaro, driven by Eddie Ware, failed to qualify at this weekend’s AMS Staff Leasing Pro Modified Challenge presented by Tindle Enterprises at the famed Florida drag strip.

We missed the set-up and didn’t put the Rupture Streetwear Camaro in the field,” said the 32-year old Ware from Marietta, GA. “We did learn a lot with the new rule changes at the ACDelco Gatornationals, and these changes should help us next weekend in the Torco CompetitionPlus.com competition.”

The Disturbed Motorsports team was in the show after the first round of qualifying with a 6.232-second, 231.36-mph run, but were unable to capitalize on this showing, aborting subsequent runs and not making the stout field of 16 Pro Modified finalists.

“The team will stay in Gainesville and test on Monday,” said team Crew Chief Sam Ware. “Hopefully that will help us figure things out before leaving for Texas,” he added. “Some of the teams here really had their act together and ran very well. It doesn’t make us feel any better, but there were some very strong teams that missed the mark as well.”

Josh Hernandez defeated Troy Critchley in the final of the AMS Staff Leasing Pro Modified Challenge presented by Tindle Enterprises with a 5.938-second 244.29-mph pass.

The Disturbed Motorsports Team sponsored by Rupture Streetwear, Baudier Vehicle Graphics and Mickey Thompson Performance Tires Supercharged 1967 Chevrolet Camaros next event is the International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) eMax Nitro Jam/Drag Racing Series in Texas.

The Amalie Oil Texas Nationals presented by NAPA AUTO PARTS, is scheduled for March 23 - 25 at San Antonio Raceway.
