You are right. I looked yesterday morning and counted only 20 cars, and now there are 21 cars and he is on the list. I,m glad he is going to be there.

They should have opened up Super Comp, especially with a $10,000 to win Super Comp race on Wednesday and then a division race the following weekend.

We were just talking about that here not two days ago. This is SO frigging silly. We'd be there, for two weeks (Nat'l, big $$ race, Div7 Race), if it weren't for this silly "one class dropped" thing.

I understand it at tracks with limited space, but holy cow, if there is ONE track in the country that could take on all comers, it's Vegas. Virtually unlimited parking space, no curfew, good weather. It makes no sense.

And NHRA is giving up a lot of dough. I'd bet you'd fill a 170 car SC field (with the races the next week), that's something like $40,000 in entry fees.

Be super jealous due to the fact that the one race around here had 16tf and 18fc, no pro mods and less then half the alcohol cars! (I felt lucky to see full fuel fields that weekend)

Would be true, except they run us at dawn or at dark when everyone is gone. We're in round 5 or 6 before the average fan even sees a SC car.

At this point, zero for any open class. The way grade points work is that 8 weeks out, you need 8 grade points. 7 weeks out, 7, and so on. At this point, if the class is not filled, anyone can enter.

Well who's to say more Sportsman racers won't enter? They don't run till Thursday, or is it closed?

They close entries on Monday of the event (usually). Some exceptions are occasionally made, but that's usually what they do. However, all they have left (below alcohol) is one spot in Super Stock.
