Two time Bonneville land speed record holder and NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle racer Valerie Thompson announced new marketing partnerships as she arrived at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway for the ACDelco Las Vegas NHRA Nationals. ByeByeBanker.com will step in as title sponsor of Thompson’s S&S powered V-Twin and XXX Racing Fuel will join as an associate. “This all happened in one week,” said Thompson, fresh off the road after the long drive from Wisconsin. “I’ve worked real hard at getting new team shirts, the bike repainted by my sponsor Prestige Auto Works, logos on the trailer, new hero cards and the list keeps going.
“After a major setback with my original 2008 title sponsor, we have been hard at trying to keep the dream alive. Having a little down time between Concord and Vegas allowed us to work at showing these two great companies what their involvement with us and the NHRA can do for them.
